Just as I was starting to get back into the routine of school, I sadly contracted COVID. It has been a surprisingly long time since quarantine, and I am definitely not accustomed to isolation, especially while also feeling ill. Fortunately, despite my poor health, I was able to stay on top of my assignments for the most part. It was very strange being unable to leave my house, especially since the last time I had COVID I had a lot less independence due to not yet having my license, however, I managed to get a lot done. I did not enjoy thinking about the time I was losing, so I decided to make the most out of my time at home. I turned my mini-quarantine into a time for me to organize my space at home and set healthy habits. I deep-cleaned my room, ate healthy, tried some different study techniques for my more rigorous classes, read some books, and tried to be as active as possible without over-exerting myself. Overall, I am very proud of the way that I turned a possibly uneventful week into a productive time, even though my energy was at an all-time low. Hopefully, that productivity will be reflected when I return to school, however, I'm sure I will be slightly behind my peers.
