Getting The Ball Rolling

9-18-23

This week in ISM, we began contemplating what we want to research and what questions we want to ask professionals in our field whenever we start to interview them. Even though we may only be making small steps from an outside perspective, for me and my peers every tiny step shows tremendous promise for the road we are traveling down. This week I continued doing general research on anesthesiology, and also completed my final resume. I feel like overall this week was very productive and the work I produced was very good quality. While the research I have done so far has been very interesting, I hope that next week when I dive deeper into certain subtopics I will find a topic that I can focus my final product on. So far, the most promising products I can think of would be products relating to technological advancements with the equipment used frequently by anesthesiologists, or possibly creating equipment that assists anesthesiologists with comfort while they perform in long surgeries, such as an energy fuel of some sort or reforming the tools used. Next week, I hope that I can come up with some more questions that I would want to ask anesthesiologists, and also that I can find a product that would create a large impact on the field.
